I always find that pulling out the garden at the end of the season to be a sad chore. Instead of getting the job done, I started daydreaming about ways to keep my garden going just a little bit longer. And that is when the idea came to me. I would gather up my vegetables and turn them into a painting! The eggplant, tomatoes, parsley and celery in this painting all came from my garden. I love the contrast of the purple eggplant next to the bright red tomatoes. The shine is my favourite part to paint.
