Summer picnics are so much fun. This painting makes me want to go to the market and splurge on summer fruit. My mouth starts to water as I think of all the other things that would match nicely with this meal. With this painting on your wall, a little bit of summer will stay with you all year long.

I love the combination of colours and shapes in this painting. I spend a lot of time paying attention to the way the light hits each object. That’s how I can turn an object on a 2D surface into something that no longer looks flat. My other favourite part of this painting is all the little bits of sparkle on each object.
