It was a summer evening in August. The day was hot. I had to wait for the sun to lower in the sky before heading out for an evening walk. I love the view along Mallory Road in Deep Creek - a peaceful valley with hay fields, forest and mountains. The fences near my house run close along the road in the old style with an abundance of wildflowers (and pretty weeds) filling in the spaces between each post. When I took this picture I crouched down to capture the golden setting sun, the flowers and the valley.
